Since 1998, Ignasi Terraza has been regularly working with his trio, and today it’s under this format that the Jazz lover has the opportunity to enjoy the best Terraza. The four CD’s he has published up-to-date -”Let me tell you something” (1998), “Jazz a les fosques” (1999), “It’s coming” (2003) and “In a sentimental groove (2005)”- show in all his creative evolution, the same as an increasing taste for the detail and a warmer quality in the emotions he expresses.

On stage, the Jazz that Barcelona born pianist and team-mates Dimitri Skidanov and Jean Pierre Derouard practice is rooted in a tradition which covers 20th Century first two thirds, when Stride, Swing, Be Bop, Cool and Hard Bop - with the Blues and the Spirituals in the background - described the trend that now, filled with new energy, has in this group one of its most exciting exponents.
